Jack Dee King, 79, of Shepherdsville, passed away May 27, 2026 at Wesley Manor. He was a retired United States Army Veteran, serving 21 years, a retired employee of UPS, and the retired owner of Golden Oak Heating and Cooling. He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Dorthella King; his loving wife, Mary King; along with a brother, LeRoy King. He is survived by two daughters, Serena Ann King-Price (Tommy) and Annette King (Jolen); seven grandchildren, Ariel Perkins (Joshua), Nicole DeMent (Matthias), Cheyenne Lewis (Austin), Luke King (Breanna), Thomas Price, IV (Presley), Clay King (Hannah), and Kelly Lewis (Zack); along with 19 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday at the McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home with burial to follow in Highland Memory Gardens. Friends may visit 5-8 p.m. Monday and after 9 a.m. Tuesday.
