Jack Frances Wittenauer

Jack F. Wittenauer, 87, of  Mt. Washington, passed away June 10, 2021.

He was a United States Army Veteran, retired owner of Bullitt Fence Company, and attended Mount Washington United Methodist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Clarine Wittenauer; along with a son, Thad Cheatham.

He is survived by his loving wife, Susan Curtsinger Wittenauer;  a son, Lowell Cheatham (Jill); three grandchildren, Quince, Scott, and Stephen Cheatham; along with five great-grandchildren, Hayes, Gray, Cash, and Sloane Cheatham and Lucas Johnson.

Cremation was chosen.  A memorial service will be held 7 p.m. Friday at the McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home.  Friends may visit from 5 p.m. until time of service.  His final resting place will be the Valley Cemetery, Taylorsville.
