James Milton Sharp

James Milton Sharp, 82, of Mt. Washington, passed away on Monday, December 11, 2023.  He a retired employee of Ford Motor Company, a retired home builder, a  Marine Corp veteran, and member of First Baptist Church of Mt. Washington.  He was an avid UK fan and enjoyed spending time in Florida.  He found great enjoyment relaxing by the pool watching the sunset.  In later years, he loved taking afternoon drives, and meeting friends at the local sports bar.  Jim is survived by two children, Jocelyn Lewis (Robert) and Jason Sharp; and three grandchildren, Violet, Sophia, and Wyatt.  Friends may visit 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Friday, December 15, 2023 at McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home.  Memorial gifts in his memory are suggested to Dare to Care.
