Jeanne Bonita (Blakeman) Coke

Jeanne Bonita Coke, 76, of Taylorsville, returned to the Lord on Sunday, June 11, 2023 at her home.  She was the former Jeanne Blakeman, a homemaker, and attended Calvary Christian Center.  Jeanne's greatest love was her family.  She also enjoyed cooking for them.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Bonnie Blakeman; and two brothers, Ira Lee Blakeman and Charles Blakeman.  She is survived by her husband of nearly 58 years, Paul E. Coke; three sons, Anthony (Raquel), Robert (Deniece), and Christopher (Cami) Coke; two sisters, Anne Freeman and Beth Barker; eight grandchildren, Whitney, Lindsay, Zachary (Autumn), Mason, Emma, Jacob, Aspen, and Eden; along with four great grandchildren, Callahan, Jed, Piper, and Silas.  Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, June 17, 2023 at McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Mt. Washington Cemetery.  Friends may visit from 10 a.m. until time of service on Saturday.  Memorial gifts are suggested to the Wounded Warrior Program.
