Jeffery Scott Owen

Jeffery Scott Owen, 53, of Taylorsville, passed away January 7, 2024 at Norton Women and Children's Hospital.  He was an employee of Winston Industries, LLC.  He loved music and "tinkering" with bikes, motorcycles, and remote control cars.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Owen.  He is survived by his father, Dennis R. Owen; two daughters, Autumn Kelly and Alex Stewart (Oliver); a brother, Gregory A. Owen (Brandy); a sister, Susan Glasscock (Carl); along with four grandchildren, Braedon, Josiah, Resse, and Carter,  and one great-grandson, Arlo.  Funeral services will be held 7 p.m. Wednesday at the McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home, with cremation to follow.  Friends may visit from 4 p.m. until time of service.
