Obituary
Jennifer Kay Ison, 72, of Mt. Washington, passed away August 4, 2022 at her home surrounded by her family. She was a retired employee of the Kentucky State Reformatory, where she served for 24 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Sue Oliver; along with a sister, Madonna Shircliff. She is survived by her loving husband, Chad Ison; a son, Josh Ison (Renae); two daughters, Heather Shelton (James) and Melissa Civilins; along with five grandchildren, Nevaeh, Gavin, Draven, Gemma, and Jason. Cremation was chosen. McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home, Mt. Washington has been entrusted with arrangements. Please make any memorial contributions to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
