Jerome Hillman Hawkins, 80, of Mt. Washington, passed away on Tuesday, March 17, 2020 at Jewish Hospital. He was a native of Elizabethtown, KY, a retired employee of Ford Motor Company, and a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. He was a member of the Jeffersontown Masonic Lodge # 774 and the Robinson-Plumb Lodge #266, as well as being a member of the Moose Lodge. He also greatly enjoyed the Ham Radio-WA4SP. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Deneen Frazier; two brothers, Larry and Carroll Hawkins. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Sue Hawkins; one son, Nick Hawkins (Pam); a brother, Albert Hawkins; two sisters, Libby Harned and Mary Jo Jameson; along with five grandchildren and one great granddaughter. Cremation was chosen. There will be a memorial service held at a later date.
