Jewell Glen Proctor

Jewell "Joe" Glen Proctor, 85, passed away on Wednesday, November 8, 2023.  He was a native of Shepherdsville, KY, a retired employee of Swift Meat Packing, and a current employee of Bee Line Courier Service.  He was an Army veteran, and a  member of Bullitt Masonic Lodge #155 and the Scottish Rite.  He was preceded in death by his parents, J.B. and Juanita Proctor; and his sister, Oneida Snyder.  Joe is survived by his wife, Ethel Proctor; one brother, Reuben Proctor; and his longtime friend, Linda Barksdale.  Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday at McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home with burial to follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery.  Friends may visit from 1 to 8 p.m. Sunday and after 9 a.m. Monday.  Memorial gifts are suggested to the American Diabetes Association.
