Jimmy Lee Sanders

Jimmy Lee Sanders, 70, of Fern Creek, returned to the Lord on Saturday, October 31, 2020 at Jewish Hospital.  Jimmy was a retired employee of General Electric where he worked for 37 years, and was a member of Highview Baptist Church.  He was preceded in death by his parents, James Roy and Frances Goodlett Sanders; and a brother, Michael Sanders.  He is survived by his wife, Lydia Sanders; one son, Brian Sanders (Jennifer); a stepson, Dan Thompson; three brothers, Ronnie (Marie), Wendell, and Keith (Rhonda) Sanders; one sister, Diane Lile (Steve); three grandchildren, Mason, Hannah, and Georgia Sanders; and two step-grandchildren, Brittani and Dawson Thompson.  Funeral services will be 12:30 p.m. Friday at McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home with burial to follow in Resthaven Memorial Park.  Friends may visit after 10 a.m. Friday until time of the service.
