Joseph Terrell Bauman

Joseph Terrell "Terry" Bauman, 73, of Louisville, passed away on Thursday, July 27, 2023 at Norton Audubon Hospital.  He was a native of Louisville, a retired employee of Lorillard Tobacco Company, and a Navy veteran.  He loved history, horseracing, sports, and was an avid UK fan.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert Frederick and Anna Mildred Bauman Jr.; a son, Alan Clayton; and two brothers, Ronald Terrell and James Todd Bauman.  Terry is survived by his wife of 42 years, Sherrie Bauman;  five siblings, Susie Ford (Mark), Pamela Anderson (Robin), Donna Tschoepe (Michael), Albert Frederick Bauman III (Erika), and Frank Anthony Bauman(Cheryl); along with a host of nieces and nephews.  A Celebration of his life will be held 6 p.m.Friday, August 4, 2023 at McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home.   Friends may visit from 4 p.m. until time of service on Friday.   Memorial gifts are suggested to Down Syndrome of Louisville.
