Joseph Nolan Wheatley, Jr.

Joseph Nolan Wheatley, Jr., 70, of Louisville, passed away December 22, 2025.  He was a retired mechanic for Shuffitt's Automotive.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph, Sr. and Mildred Wheatley.  He is survived by his loving wife, Glendora Wheatley; a son, Joseph N. Wheatley, III; three daughters, Cyndi Smith (Glen), Jenny Williamson (Jason), and Stacy Duffy (Patrick); four sisters, Teresa Bruner (Bobby), Della Schmidt (Bob), Anita Holt, and Sheila Monroe; along with seven grandchildren, Brandon, Taylor, Brianna, Austin, Jay, Nolan, and Owen and three great-grandchildren, Ashton, Lucas, and Isabella.  In keeping with his wishes, cremation was chosen.  A celebration of life will be held Saturday, January 17, 2026 at 1 p.m. at the Mt. Washington Missionary Baptist Church, 530 Delania Dr. Mt. Washington, KY.  Friends may visit from 10 a.m. until time of service at the church.
