Joyce Ann (Bowling) Hill

Joyce Ann Hill, 75, of Mt. Washington, passed away July 16, 2024.  She was retired from the Kentucky Higher Education Student Loan Corporation (KHESLC),  a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, and Joyce loved spending time with her family and friends.  She was preceded in death by her mother, Agnes E. Bowling; her beloved husband, Jim Hill; her siblings, Edna Metcalfe, Mary Whitaker, and Thomas Bowling; along with a sister in law, Juanita Matillar.  She is survived by her two daughters, Kim Saylor (David) and Dana Meredith (Greg); a bonus daughter, Rhonda Barr (Carroll); one brother, Jess Bowling (Sabrina); a sister in law, Joyce Bailey; three grandchildren, Morgan Sweat (Hayden), Peyton Meredith, and Madeline Carman (Devin); along with a great-grandson, John David Sweat and one more on the way.  Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Monday at the McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home with burial to follow in Highland Memory Gardens. Friends may visit 2-6 p.m. Sunday and after 9 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.  Memorial contributions are suggested to Hosparus.
