Judy Irene (Wilkerson) Vaughn

Judy Irene Vaughn, 73, of Spencer County, KY, returned to the Lord on Thursday, June 17, 2021 at her home.  She was the former Judy Wilkerson, a native of London, KY,  a member of the Swiss Colony Swiss Descent, and Spencer Christian Church in Taylorsville.  Judy was a retired employee of Baptist East Hospital, owner of Economical Tax Service, and former owner of the Country Pantry.  She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William E. “Bill” Vaughn; and her father, Amel Wilkerson.  Judy is survived by her daughter, Tammy Weber; her mother, Irene Wilkerson; and a host of many friends.   Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, June 25, 2021 at Spencer Christian Church.  Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home, Mt. Washington, KY, and after 10 a.m. Friday at the church.  Friends may also visit on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at Bowling Funeral Home, London, KY, from 11 a.m. until 12 Noon with burial to follow in the Swiss Colony Cemetery on Saturday. Memorial gifts are suggested to the American Stroke Foundation.
