Kenneth D. Alcorn, 92, returned to the Lord on Friday, October 1, 2021 at Baptist Health Louisville. He was a native of Mt. Washington, KY, a retired employee of Sears, and a lifelong member of Kings Baptist Church. Ken was an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict and was awarded the Purple Heart. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Belle Alcorn; and two brothers, Floyd and Darrel Alcorn. He is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Martha Alcorn; two sons, Mike (Kim) and Mark (Phyllis) Alcorn; one sister, Alberta Tyler; and three grandchildren, Daniel, Kayla, and Kelli Rae. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home with burial to follow in Kings Church Cemetery. Friends may visit from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday and after 9 a.m. Tuesday. Memorial gifts in Ken's memory are suggested to the DAV or Wounded Warriors.
