Kyle Thomas Moriarty

Kyle Thomas Moriarty, 37, of Mt. Washington, passed away on Saturday, July 27, 2024.    He was born on September 18, 1986 to Steve and Kathy Moriarty in Louisville, KY.  He was a 2005 graduate of Spencer County High School, and former employee of Ivy Technologies.  Kyle was very artistic, and especially enjoyed designing fish tanks.  He loved his family, dogs and cats.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents, William T. and Betty Jo Moriarty, Leo and Lois McFarland.  In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Katie Cheshire; a son, Conner Thomas Moriarty; one brother, William “Willie” Moriarty; along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.  Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Wednesday, July 31, 2024 at McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Mt. Washington Cemetery.  Friends may visit from 12 p.m. until time of services on Wednesday.  Memorial gifts are suggested to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
