Laura Lee Avis

Laura Lee Avis, 48, of Louisville, passed away September 9, 2021 at her home.  She had attended Evangel World Prayer Center.  She was preceded in death by her mother, Lisa Brinley Avis; along with a son, Richard Wolf.  She is survived by her father, Pat Avis (Belva Smithson); one brother, James Avis; a sister, Chrissy Winterbottom; a step-sister, Michele Smithson; two nieces, Shianne Avis and Annalisa Winterbottom; two nephews; Justice Avis and Owen Winterbottom; along with her best friend, Heather and her boyfriend, JR.  Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday at the McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home with burial to follow in Hopewell Cemetery.  Friends may visit from 11 a.m. until time of service.
