Lawrence Dale Snipp

Lawrence Dale Snipp, 63, of Louisville, returned home to his Heavenly Father on January, 1, 2021 at Baptist Health.  Larry was very active with AA and was President of the Board of Directors at the C.A.R.E. Center. Larry dedicated his life to helping those in the recovery community.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Bernard and Patricia Snipp; and a nephew, Kevin Snipp.  Larry is survived by two children, Mark Snipp and Michele Snipp Abell (Justin); his siblings, Sherry Riley (Joe), Steve Snipp (Jackie), Joan Potter (Bryan), Lynn Bell (Michael), and Kevin Snipp (Lauren); two grandchildren, Stella and Knox Abell; along with a host of nieces, nephews, and many dear friends in recovery.  A celebration of his life will be held 5 p.m. Friday, January 8, 2021 at the Chapel in the Woods, Southeast Christian Church.  Friends may visit from 4 p.m. until time of service Friday at the church.  Another memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, January 9, 2021 at the C.A.R.E. Center, 3711 Bells Lane, Louisville, KY.  Memorial gifts in his memory are suggested to be made to the C.A.R.E. Center.
