Leslie Kenneth Porter, 91, of Mt. Washington, passed away on September 10, 2024. Kenneth was a native of Casey County, KY, a retired employee of Ford Motor Company, and a member of Mt. Washington First Christian Church. He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Juanita McFarland Porter; a daughter, Peggy Jean Porter; his parents, Willie and Livonia Porter; and his brothers, Lester, J. Chester, Gerald and Leonard Porter. Left to cherish his memory include three children, Gale Porter Gentry, Jo Ann Robbins (Jim), and Jerry Kenneth Porter (Linda); two grandsons, Brian Robbins and Willie Porter; and three great grandchildren, MacKenzie Robbins, Nolan Robbins, and Ian Robbins. Funeral services will be held 7 p.m. Friday, September 13, 2024 at McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home. Friends may visit on Friday from 2 p.m. until time of service. A graveside service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Brush Creek Cemetery in Casey County. Memorial gifts in lieu of flowers are suggested to the Brush Creek Church Cemetery Fund.
