Lloyd Owen Bethel, Jr., 57, of Mt. Washington, passed away August 11, 2022 at his home. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd O., Sr. and Jaqueline Bethel; along with his siblings, Richard Bethel and Melissa Tingle. He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara Griffith Bethel; one son, Robert Burkhead Jr.; two daughters, Tammy Griffith and Christina Scott; Dylan Elwell, Deneice Burkhead, and Danika Bethel, whom he raised as his own children; one sister, Shelly Vowels; along with eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 12 p.m. Saturday, August 20, 2022 at the McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home with cremation to follow. Friends may visit from 10 a.m. until time of service.
