Lloyd Sherman Crenshaw

Lloyd Sherman Crenshaw, 84, of Taylorsville, passed away November 20, 2021 at Norton Hosparus Inpatient Center.  He was a Baptist by faith and a retired purchasing manager for Snider Bolt and Screw.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Pauline Thomas Crenshaw; along with two sons, Lloyd and Gary Crenshaw.  He is survived by his loving wife, Marjorie Compton-Crenshaw; two sons, James William (Stacey) and Carroll Ray Crenshaw; one daughter, Janet Crenshaw-Hutson (Rodney); two step-sons, Ron (Christy) and Greg Dolan; one step-daughter, Melissa Dolan; one brother, Leland Crenshaw; one sister, Patsy Myers; along with twelve grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.  Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday at the McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Mount Washington Cemetery.  Friends may visit 5-8 p.m. Monday and after 9 a.m. Tuesday.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests all memorial contributions be made to Hosparus of Louisville.
