Lola Gene Roy, 68, of Mt. Washington, returned to the Lord on Monday, April 6, 2026 at her home. Lola was born on June 13, 1957 in Jefferson County to the late Frank Walter and Rosemary Greenwell Reyna. She worked as a beautician in her salon at Shear Pleasure Salon, and most recently at Head over Heels Salon, both in Mt. Washington. She was also a member of Mt. Washington United Methodist Church. She loved her career and most importantly spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Frances Reyna.
Lola is survived by her husband, Nick Roy; one daughter, Angel Shaw; two sons, Luke Roy and William Nicholas Roy (Samantha); one brother, Frank Reyna; two sisters, Rita Gataky and JoAnn Thomas; three grandchildren, Heaven Collins, Wynter Collins, and Blake Nicholas Roy; and three great grandchildren, Ahvarika Swartz, Fallion Swartz, and Zelena Swartz.
Funeral services will be 4 p.m. Saturday, April 11, 2026 at McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home. Friends may visit from 1 p.m. until time of service.
