Lonnie Alan Williams

Lonnie Alan Williams, 60, of Mt. Washington, passed away on Thursday, May 13, 2021 at his home.  He was a controller for Hood Container Corporation and a faithful member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church where he served as a communion minister, lector, and worked with the youth and religious education.  He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Brenda Stevenson Williams; a son, Ryan Williams (Isabella); daughter, Alyssa Williams (Danielle); sister-in-law, Jacquelyn Hunter (John); along with a host of nieces and nephews, including Michael, Zeta ,Trena (Delfeayo); and great niece Jazmine.  Funeral mass will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church.  Friends may visit from 10 a.m. until time of service on Tuesday at McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home.  Memorial gifts are suggested to the American Diabetes Association.
