Lorraine A. Scheitlin Austin, 53, of Louisville, passed away September 1, 2021 at her home. She was a member of Mount Washington United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jon Austin. She is survived by her parents, Edward Kimmel and Anita Mizell; a daughter, Sara Austin; a son, Kyle Austin (Heather); along with her siblings, Robert Scheitlin (Janice) and Wendy Ward. Cremation was chosen and per the family's request, all services are private. Please make any memorial contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
