Mammie Jewell Obituary

Mammie Fay Jewell, 72, of Mt. Washington, passed away on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at her home. She was the former Mammie Fay Barnett, a native of Deatsville, KY, and a longtime healthcare worker. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Melissa Kay Barnes; and her siblings, Doris, Mary Bell, Virginia, Eddie Ray, Martha, William Earl, Linda and Geneva. Fay is survived by two children, Shelly Puckett and Allen Puckett; one brother, Tommy Barnett; her twin sister, Kay Stansberry; along with seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Fay's wishes were to be cremated. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, June 18, 2022 at Apostolic Lighthouse Church in Louisville, KY.
