Margie A. (Miller) Barnes

Margie A. Barnes, 78, of Louisville, passed away on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at Baptist Health.  She was the former Margie Miller, a former beautician and retired insurance agent.  Margie attended First Baptist Church of Pompano Beach Florida.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Archie and Cora Miller; and brothers, David and Keith Miller.  Margie is survived by her husband of 58 years, Bill Barnes; three sisters, Doris Hunt, Mary Chelf (Floyd), and Helen Burress (David); two brothers, Robert (Pat) and J. W. "Jim" (Darlene) Miller;   two sisters-in-law, Eunice Miller and Frances Miller; along with a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.  Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, December 23, 2021 at McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home with burial to follow in Kings Church Cemetery.  Friends may visit from 12 p.m. until time of service on Thursday.  The family respectfully request a facial mask to be worn at the funeral home.
