Marie Telene Bellefleur

Marie Telene Bellefleur, 76, of Shepherdsville, passed away on Monday, June 24, 2024 at Norton Audubon Hospital.  She was a native of Jeremie, Haiti, a housewife, and a member of Christian Assembly Church.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Perome Antoine; her parents, Theranor Bellefleur and Viergenise Antoine; two sons, Lener  and Oguenol Antoine; one daughter, Angella Antoine; and siblings, Lucknor Bellefleur, Viergenite Bellefleur, and Antoine Bellefleur.  Marie is survived by five children, Danna A. Alcegaire (Frantz), Nolla A. Louissaint (Frantz), Evenie A Benoit (Savary Benoit), Margualite A. Phanor (Edouard George), and Penel Antoine; along with twelve grandchildren, Daneiskeat, Josh, Frantzdya, Adanna, and Berjeline Alcegaire, Anne Oguenel Bessarabie, Giaillardo, Garody, Arlighieri Benoit, Edouardo K. and Katchina Phanor.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, June 29, 2024 at Christian Assembly Church, 9020 Stonestreet Road, Louisville, KY, with burial to follow in Beth Haven Memorial Gardens.  Friends may visit from 11 a.m. until time of service.  Memorial gifts in Marie’s memory are suggested to be made to the family in care of McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home.
