Marion Maxine (Armstrong) Romine

Maxine Romine, 80, of Mt. Washington returned to the Lord on Thursday, July 23, 2020 at Baptist Health in Louisville.  She was the former Maxine Armstrong, member of the Mt. Washington Lioness Club and First Baptist Church of Mt. Washington.  She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Billy Romine; her parents, Hubert and Marion Armstrong; brothers, Don Farrell, H. Kendal, Glenn L., George B., Freddie, and Aaron Armstrong; and her sisters, Cherry L. Stewart and Ramona Harrington.  Maxine leaves behind one son, Matt Romine; one brother, Barry Armstrong; along with three grandchildren, Amber Hickerson (Colby), Cecilia Romine, and Whitney Buffat (Scott); and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.  Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 28,2020 at First Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Mt. Washington Cemetery.  Friends may visit from 2 to 7 p.m. Monday and after 9 a.m. Tuesday all at the church.  Memorial gifts are suggested to First Baptist Church or Hosparus of Louisville.  Arrangements were entrusted to McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home.
