Marjorie C. Meadors, 78, of Louisville, died Thursday, November 24, 2022. Margie was a devoted mother and grandmother who dedicated her life to her family. She had a passion for travel, often taking her kids and grandkids along on her many adventures. She was a dedicated Catholic, who remained a faithful member of St. Athanasius church until her health failed. She was a Jill-of-all trades, working throughout the years as a realtor with Century 21, a collections specialist with Sam Swope Auto, and even partnered with the FBI and Secret Service as a fraud investigator through her many years in banking. One of her favorite things to do was laugh, she often told her family, “even if you don’t feel like it, fake laugh for thirty seconds and it will turn into a real laugh”. Margie will be fondly remembered and deeply missed. Margie is preceded in death by her son, Christopher Meadors. She leaves to cherish her sweet memory two daughters, Tracy Martin (Larry) and Bridget Meadors; her son, Jeff Meadors (Laura); her brother, Jerry Jansing; sister, Mickey Williams; along with 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 12 p.m. Saturday, December 3, 2022 at McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home with burial to follow in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery. Friends may visit from 10 a.m. until time of service.
