Martin Floyd "Butch" Ballinger, II, 78, passed away on March 23rd, surrounded by family. Butch was a loving husband to Barbara for 57 years and a beloved father of five; Patrick (Dana), Marty (Melissa), Veronica Seigle (Jeff), Steven (deceased), and Lisa Allgeier (Bill), including extended son Tony Ward (Cindy). He was cherished by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews and close friends. Butch attended St. Joseph's Prep in Bardstown and graduated from Fern Creek HS. He supported his family through his own business, Ballinger Heating and Cooling. He was known for his exceptional trapshooting skills, along with his second hobby of fly fishing. Butch was a stranger to none, a friend to all, and will be deeply missed by everyone. A memorial visitation will be held from 1 to 6 p.m. Saturday, July 3, 2021 at McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home with a prayer vigil at 2 p.m. Saturday.
