Mary Alice (Bogard) Glenn

Mary Alice Glenn, 85, of Shepherdsville, returned to the Lord on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at Norton Audubon Hospital.  She was the former Alice Bogard, a graduate of Shepherdsville High School, and a faithful member of Fern Creek Baptist Church.  She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Donald Glenn; her parents, Sidney and Georgia Bogard; and her siblings, Ann Bailey, Helen Cone, Bill Bogard, Jean Pawson, and Mildred Baliant.  Alice is survived by two children, Melinda Glenn (J.R. Ruiz) and Steven Glenn; along with two grandchildren, Justin Glenn and Jamie Beverly (Nick).  Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Fern Creek Baptist Church with burial to follow in Mt. Washington Cemetery.  Friends may visit from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home and after 10 a.m. Wednesday at the church.  Memorial gifts are suggested to her church.
