Mary Charlene Tomblin

Mary Charlene Tomblin, 46, of Louisville, returned to the Lord on Thursday, March 24, 2022 at Baptist Health after a sudden illness.  Charlene was a member of Grace Union Baptist Church.  She loved cooking, antiques, camping, and had a special love of animals.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Lee and Mary Elizabeth Tomblin.  Charlene is survived by her husband, Mike Leslie; one daughter, Chelsie Tomblin (Dylan); bonus children, Dylan and Brittany Leslie; three siblings, Jackie Weible (Timmy), Tammy Browder (Kenneth), and Jeff Tomblin; grandchildren, Skyler, Aubree, and Braelyn; nieces and nephews, Jennifer Weible, Derrick Weible, Cortney Perkins (Chad), James Whitfill (Chelsey) Dylan Whitfill, and Ethan Braund; great nieces and nephews, Knox, Ava, Elijah, and Olivia; and her beloved dog, Shorty. Funeral services will be 7 p.m. Tuesday at McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home.  Friends may visit from 5 p.m. until time of service on Tuesday.  Memorial gifts in Charlene's memory are suggested to the funeral home to help with expenses.
