Matthew Dale Howard

Matthew Dale Howard, 65, of Louisville, passed away on Tuesday, September 23, 2025 at his home.  Matt was born on March 30, 1960 in Louisville, KY to the late Nathan H. and Anita Higgs Howard.  He was a retired employee of MPS/ Ivy Hill, and a member of Little Flock Baptist Church.  He loved golfing, music, and his  four legged best friend, Diamond.   Matt is survived by two children, Matthew Dale Howard Jr. (Stephanie) and Andrea Lee Young (Ashley); his companion, Jenny Moon; one sister, Lauren Burress (Rodney); along with five grandchildren, Jeremy, Hunter, Jayden, Kaidence, and Gavyn.  Funeral services will be 7 p.m. Saturday, September 27, 2025 at McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home with cremation to follow.  Friends may visit from 4 p.m. until time of service on Saturday.  Memorial gifts in his memory are suggested to Kentucky Humane Society.
