Obituary
Maurice Wise, 87, of Mt. Washington, passed away May 16, 2023 at Baptist Health Louisville. She was a retired employee of People's Bank, Mt. Washington and a member of the Mount Washington United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Maurice and Hazel McAfee; along with her siblings, Lois Jean Foster and James Lee McAfee. She is survived by two daughters, Shelia Kelly (Mickey) and Tracy Vining (Tony); along with four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Monday at the McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home with burial to follow in Highland Memory Gardens. Friends may visit Monday from 12 p.m. until time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Hosparus.
