Michael Stanley Hardin

MIchael Stanley Hardin, 66, passed away on Sunday, May 16, 2022 at Hillcreek Manor.  He was a retired employee of BAE, Naval Ordinance, a member of the NRA, Kentucky Square Dance Callers Association, and a Navy veteran.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Weylmer Hardin and Ruby Kilner; and a brother, Danny Hardin.  He is survived by is former wife and partner, Charlene Hardin; two children, Charles Hardin and Sarah Hardin; one brother, Kevin Kilner; a grandson, Alexander Hardin; stepmom, Ann Hardin; three nephews, Justin, Jake and Brady; a special cousin, Brenda Myles;  along with a host of extended family and friends.  Funeral services will be 11:30 a.m. Thursday at McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home with burial to follow in Resthaven Memorial Park.  Friends may visit from 3 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and after 10 a.m. Thursday.  Memorial gifts in Mike's memory should be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
