Minnie Louise (Roarx) Cleary

Minnie Louise Cleary, 85, of Louisville, passed away on Friday, October 31, 2025.   She was the former Minnie Roarx and a retired employee of Allied Shipping, and the mother of several furbabies.  She enjoyed playing bingo, the lottery, gardening, and had a great love of animals.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerard “Gerry” Cleary; her parents, Oscar and Dora Roarx; and nine brothers and sisters, Bobby, Oscar “Tootie”, Jimmy, Gene, Carl “Shorty”, Dorothy “Sis”, Nancy, Prudie, and Diane.  She is survived by 27 nieces and nephews; and her beloved dog, Ginger.  Funeral service will be 3 p.m. Sunday, November 9, 2025 at McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home.  Friends may visit from 12:30 until time of service on Sunday.  A graveside service will be 11 a.m. Monday, November 10, 2025 at Highland Memory Gardens.  Memorial gifts in Minnie’s memory are suggested to the Kentucky Humane Society or Hosparus of Louisville.
