Moise Napier, 85, of Mt. Washington went to be with his heavenly father on January 24, 2025. A lifelong entrepreneur, Moise spent the majority of his career as owner of Mt. Washington’s Town and Country store – first auto parts and then pools, gifts and collectibles. Later in life he found great joy in his newest hobby as a member of the Falls City Model A Club, where he proudly drove his 1931 Ford Model A to local establishments and events. A lifelong church member and door greeter extraordinaire, Moise found great solace and comfort in the community he found in Southeast Christian Church Bullitt County Campus in recent years, particularly with his “Empty Nesters” small group. He is preceded in death by his wife of 41 years, Ellen Ballard Napier, his parents Ruby Claire Masden Napier and Walter Lee Napier, brother W.A. Napier, and favorite fur-friend Aspen. He is survived by daughters Toni (Greg) Dorris, Pam (Tim) Crumbacker and Julie (Chip) Stepp as well as four grandchildren – Leslie Dorris, Ashley (Kevin) Byerley, Amy (Joe) Edwards and Todd (Samantha) Crumbacker – and 6 great-grandchildren, Casey, Easton, Ava Claire, Oliver, Hudson and Emma. Visitation will be Monday, January 27 from 1 – 8 p.m. at Southeast Christian Church Bullitt County Campus, 220 Armstrong Lane in Mt. Washington. The funeral will be at the same location on Tuesday, January 28 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation 2 hours before service. Burial will follow in the Mt. Washington Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to support the ministries of the SECC Bullitt County Campus.
