Nancye Elizabeth (Shaw) Miller

Nancye Elizabeth Miller, 74, of Mt. Washington, KY, passed away on Friday, July 11, 2025 at her home surrounded by her family.  Nancye was a retired employee with the Kroger Company.  She enjoyed cooking, flowers, and occasionally going to the casino.  Her greatest joy was her family.  She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her daughter, Jennifer Gambill; her parents, Paul Shaw and Charlotte Elizabeth Seebold Harp; her uncles, Joe and Jack Seebold; her best friend, Glona; and her beloved cat, Stripey.  Nancye is survived by her loving husband, Christopher Miller; two daughters, Lauren Hall (Gary Rogers Jr.) and Amanda Gambill-Hoback (Mark);  six grandchildren, Mia, Chelsea, Justine, Evan, Jessica,  Seth and Kylie; eleven great grandchildren, Alex Jr., Mars, August, Aaliyah, Aarlan, Emmie, Ava, Christopher Jr., Saint, Liam, and Leila; the father of her children, Edward Gambill (David Breckenridge); a host of cousins including, Kenny (Natalia), Joey (Jen), David and Nicole, Josh and Kim; as well as a host of extended family and friends.  Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 15, 2025 at McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home with burial to follow in Chenoweth Run Cemetery.  Friends may visit from 11 a.m. until time of service on Tuesday.  Memorial gifts in her memory are suggested to Alley Cat Advocates.
