Pamela Kay Rogers, 71, of Mt. Washington, passed away on March 1 at her home. Born on March 11, 1954 to Harold and Zelda Yancey, she graduated from J-Town high school where she played french horn in the marching band. She was a long time member of Southeast Christian Church and current member of Church of the Crossroads. In addition to running her own tea-party business, Pyd Piper, and working in various administrative and executive roles, she was the co-founder of Heart of My City Ministry and most recently worked part-time as a Senior Helper. Pam was known for her passion for Jesus, children, her animals, gardening, crafts, dancing, and fun of most any kind. Pam was pre-deceased by her spouse, Carl Rogers, and her parents. She is survived by her children Philip Dennison (Sarah) and Erin Dennison, her step-children Sunshine Leach (Eric), Summer Lewis (Chris), Candace Clemons, and Rocky Rogers, her siblings Mark Yancey, Martin Yancey (Lisa), Parri Das (Suresh), as well as a passel of surrogate grandchildren who knew her as Grand-Pam. A Celebration of Life service will be held 4:00 p.m. Saturday, March 7, 2026 at the McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home, Mt. Washington KY. Friends may visit from 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts are suggested to Church of the Crossroads, Mt. Washington.
