Patricia Ann (Bohannon) Jackie

Patricia Ann Jackie, 85, of Mt. Washington, returned to the Lord on Saturday, March 27, 2021 at Baptist Health.

She was the former Patricia Bohannon, a graduate of Nazareth School of Nursing, where she remained active in maintaining the alumni.  She retired after 37 years working as a registered nurse in various hospitals and health care facilities.  Pat was also a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, where she had served as a eucharistic minister, former member of the Parish Council, Women’s Club and Joy Club.  She also donated her time visiting the homebound members of the church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Jackie; a daughter, Alisa Kay Shively; and her siblings, Leroy, Tom, and Charlie Bohannon, Nolda May, Alice Fields, and Neva Childs.

Pat is survived by four children, Timothy (Lisa) and John (Christy) Jackie, Theresa Jordan (Markel), and Benita Jackie; one brother, Robert D. Bohannon; her sister-in-law, Stella Bohannon; five grandchildren, Amanda Christman, Megan Templeman, Robert Jordan, Stephane Jordan, and K.J. Jackie; along with five great grandchildren.

Funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church with entombment to follow in Resthaven Memorial Park.  Friends may visit Monday from 3 to 8 p.m. and after 9 a.m. Tuesday at McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home.
