Rachael Dawn Hughes

Rachael Dawn Hughes, 32, of Louisville, passed away on Sunday, September 14, 2025.  Rachael was born on December 21, 1992 in Louisville, KY.   She enjoyed cheerleading and gymnastics growing up.  In later years, she loved gardening, spending time with her family, and was an avid dog lover.  She was preceded in death by her stepfather, David Bryant.  Rachael is survived by her mother, Tammy Angel Bryant; her father, Charles Kirk Hughes (Terri); two brothers, Chris Angel (Krista) and Michael Hughes; nephew, Lucas Hughes; aunt, Debbie Angel; uncle, Danny Angel; along with a host of extended family and many friends.  Funeral services will be 12 p.m. Saturday, September 27, 2025 at McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home, 111 N. Bardstown Road, Mt. Washington, KY.  Friends may visit from 12 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Friday and again on Saturday from 10 a.m. until time of service.
