Obituary

Raymond Keith Owen, 76, of Shepherdsville, passed away on Sunday, December 20, 2020 at University of Louisville Hospital.  He was a native of Indiana, a retired employee of Naval Ordinance and, a U.S. Army Vietnam veteran.  He enjoyed country music, fishing, and shopping at the flea market.  Keith was preceded in death by is parents, Darrell Raymond and Florence Owen; a daughter, Hayley Bridwell; and a brother, Randall Glenn Owen.  He is survived by a daughter, Betsy Nutt (Larry); one sister, Kathy Beach; a granddaughter, Kahla Nutt; along with his loving extended family, Beverly Alvey.  Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday, December 28, 2020 at McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home with burial to follow in Highland Memory Gardens.  Friends may visit from 10 a.m. until time of services on Monday.  Memorial gifts in Keith's memory are suggested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Kentucky Humane Society.
