Rebecca "Pauline" (Simpson) Nelson

Rebecca “Pauline” Nelson, 84, of Cox’s Creek, passed away January 25, 2021 at Baptist Health Louisville.

Pauline enjoyed sewing, making blankets for the children’s home, family time, and playing Rook.  She was a faithful member of Calvary Christian Center.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Theo; along with a brother, J.R. Simpson.

She is survived by her children, Danny Nelson (Glendora), Paula Fauth (Robert Walls), Penny Mueller (Joe), and Randy Nelson (Carol Waters); one brother, Gale Simpson (Patricia); one sister, Ramona Smith; a sister in law, Martha Murphy; her seven grandchildren, Marcy Cunningham (Brian), Derek Fauth (Krystal), Devin Mueller (Maddie Wood), Nelson Mueller (Chelsea), Ashley Gordon (Tyler), Katrina Waters, and Chelsea Eldridge; six great-grandchildren, Briana, Mason, Owen, Brady, Emma, and Jaycee; along with one great-grandchild on the way, Calvin.

Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Friday at the McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home with burial to follow in Highland Memory Gardens.  Friends may visit from 1-8 p.m. Thursday and after 9 a.m. Friday.
