Rena Bell (Vick) Crenshaw

Rena Bell Crenshaw, 93, of Fern Creek, KY, returned to the Lord on Friday, March 11, 2022 at her home.  She was the former Rena Vick, a graduate of Georgetown University, and a member Thixton Lane Baptist Church.  She was a former school teacher, but most importantly to her a homemaker.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Ansel Crenshaw; her parents, Charles C. and Belle Vick; along with siblings, Duncan Vick, Preston VIck, Henrietta Miller and Hadalene Heines.  She is survived by three children, Ansel "Gil" Crenshaw II, Mark Crenshaw, and Greg Crenshaw (Anita); three grandchildren, Dustin Crenshaw, Scott Crenshaw, and Kathy Summitt; and one great granddaughter, Katrina Smith.  Funeral services will be 12 p.m. Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home with burial to follow in Highland Memory Gardens.  Friends may visit after 9 a.m. Wednesday until time of service.
