Richard Glenn Crady

Richard Glenn “Rick” Crady, 69, of Taylorsville, KY, passed away on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at his home.  He was a native of New Albany, IN, a retired employee of General Electric, a 1969 graduate of Stow-Monroe Falls High School, and an avid Harley Davidson Rider.  He enjoyed working on motorcycles and spending time with his family and friends.  He also enjoyed visits to the Smokey Mountains and to the beach with his wife.  He was preceded in death by a daughter, Melissa Sue Crady; his parents, Robert and Sylvia Crady; two brothers, Jerry and Terry Crady; and a niece, Tammy Crady.  Rick is survived by his loving wife, Karen Crady; three children, Sonya Edwards (Bob), Jim Crady (Melissa), and Nikki Crady (Chuck); a step-son, Zach Schroader (Sara);  seven grandchildren, Amber and Ashlee Downes, Courtney Crady, Dylan and Dakota Hobbs, and Brian and Madisyn Schroader; along with a great granddaughter, Jayda Carpenter.  Memorial service will be 5 p.m. Saturday, November 20, 2021 at McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home, Mt. Washington.  Friends may visit from 12:30 until time of service on Saturday.
