Richard Clarence Gainey

Richard Clarence Gainey, 44, of Louisville, passed away on Friday, March 19, 2021 at Norton Hospital.  He was a native of Louisville and a former correction officer.  He is survived by his parents, Jesse and Cathy Hedges; his wife, Angela Gray Gainey; one son, Michael Gainey; daughters, Selina Osborne and Ashley Fultz; siblings, Tonia Richmond (Sam), Billy Hedges, Kevin Hedges, Michael Gainey, Andrew Gainey, and Bradley Hedges; and two grandchildren, Lyra and Jayce Fultz.  Cremation was chosen.  There will be a celebration of life service held 5 p.m. Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home, Mt. Washington.  Friends may visit from 1 p.m. until time of service.  Memorial gifts are suggested to be made to the funeral home.
