Rita Marion Obituary

Rita C. Marion, 81, of Mt. Washington, returned to the Lord on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at Baptist Health. She was the former Rita Hatcher, a devoted homemaker, and a member of First Baptist Church of Mt. Washington. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Marion; her parents, Darcy and Lilly Hatcher; two sisters, Fran Stamper and Willa Reed; and two brothers, Denver and Ivan Hatcher. Rita is survived by three children, Jennifer Capshaw (Lonnie), Randall (Patricia) and Robert (Connie) Marion; one brother, Damon Hatcher (Jessie); along with four grandchildren, Mark Marion, Laura Kastraba, Tina and Kimberly Marion; and four great grandchildren, Alex Kastraba, Layla Marion, Ellie Kastraba, and Atlas Marion. Due to the pandemic, all services will be private. Burial will take place in Mt. Washington Cemetery. Memorial gifts in Rita's memory are suggested to First Baptist Church.
