Robert William Breshear

Robert William Breshear, 81, of Mt. Washington, returned to the Lord on Friday, September 22, 2023.  He was a native of Washington County, IN, served in the Army National Guard, and was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Mt. Washington.  Robert was a former employee of Hoover Vacuum, Tri-City Oldsmobile, and Bob Hook Chevrolet.  He enjoyed boating, NASCAR, and was an avid University of Louisville fan.  He was preceded in death by his parents, James Forrest and Lois Inman Breshear.  Robert is survived by his loving wife of nearly 62 years, Donna James Breshear; one son, Wes Breshear (Dawn); his brother, Jim Breshear; two grandchildren, Emily Davis (Jacob) and Dyllan Breshear; three great grandchildren, Izzy Clements, Elaynah Breshear, and Layla Davis; a nephew, Greg Breshear; and his beloved dog, Ginger.  Funeral services will be held 12 p.m. Wednesday at McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home with burial to follow in Highland Memory Gardens.  Friends may visit from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and after 10 a.m. Wednesday.  Memorial gifts in his memory are suggested to Rett Syndrome Foundation or First Baptist Church of Mt. Washington.
