Robert Robinson

Robert B. Robinson, 77, of Mt. Washington, passed away on Monday, December 30, 2024 at his home.  He was born on May 26, 1947 in Jefferson County, KY, to the late Raymond and Iva Markwell Robinson.  Bobby worked for International Harvester, and later retired from General Electric.  He was a longtime member of Kings Baptist Church and an Army veteran.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three siblings,  Wanedith Gentry, Stella McKinley, and Ralph Robinson. Bobby is survived by two sisters, Ruby Patterson (Darrell) and Edith Satterly; along with several nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Sunday at McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home with burial to follow in Kings Church Cemetery.  Friends may visit from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday and after 10 a.m. Sunday.   Memorial gifts are suggested to the Wounded Warrior Project or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
