Romulo Delgado Vargas

Romulo Delgado Vargas, 50, of Jeffersontown, passed away on Monday, May 7, 2024 at Norton Women and Children's Hospital.  He was a native of Guerrero, Mexico, a construction worker, and a Catholic by faith.  He is survived by his wife, Maria Contreras; two sons, Jonathan Vargas Delgado and Alexis Delgado; two daughters, Brenda Delgado Contreras and Mirieya Delgado Contreras; his parents, Felipe Delgado and Margarita Vargas;  a brother, Emilio Delgado; and a beloved grandson, Ariel Armando Gomez.   Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, May 11, 2024 at McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Mt. Washington Cemetery.  Friends may visit from 10 a.m. until time of services on Saturday.  Memorial gifts are suggested to be made to the funeral home in Romulo's memory.
