He was a native of Hart County, KY, a retired employee of Rohm and Haas Company.
Lovingly known as "Ron", "Dad" and "Papa," he was cherished as a compassionate listener and storyteller. He loved bourbon, western films, and KY basketball. As a traveler, he had slept in 49 of 50 states. He loved golfing with his longtime friends ("The Old Farts") at Valley View Golf Course, as he also enjoyed playing at many courses throughout Kentucky, Indiana and in The Villages in Florida. And often discovering other fairways, roughs and hazards through his travels.
More than anything, Ron loved his wife of 63 years, and family.
He was preceded in death by two children, Anthony and Michael Druen; three grandchildren, Amber Nicole Druen, Adam Keith Druen, and Sean Spencer Blandford; a brother, Richard Druen; sister, Linda Moline; and his parents, Elvis and Ruby Druen.  Ronald is survived by his wife, Eleanor Druen; four children, Dennis Druen (Laura), Terri Hass (Mark), Pam Goss (Richard) and Melissa Druen; three sisters, Carole Bourland, Patti Mills, and Cathy Setzer; along with 11 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.  Cremation was chosen.
